This thing is a steel wire cage, approximately 40" x 50" x 50", which I constructed myself with pliers. Attached within the frames using a finer grade of wire, are photos from my life printed on acetate --
1st frame: Before my birth 2nd frame: Baby - toddler 3rd frame: Child 4th frame: Teenager Strands of red cotton join up various photos between the different frames. All very symbolic I'm sure  Now destroyed (I have nowhere to keep all this crap!) It took an effing long time to make. ------ You can see a close-up here. |
